Summary: The location was ok, quiet and the host was responsive before check-in, but several details were disappointing. There was no hair dryer, and basic toiletries like shampoo and soap were not provided. The cooking oil had gone bad, and some of the pots were dirty upon arrival. Several light bulbs were burned out, and the bathtub was very slippery( a rubber mat would have helped with safety). There were also two nail heads sticking out of the stairs. My mom stepped on one and almost got hurt, which was very concerning. Overall cleanliness and maintenance didn’t meet expectations. With better attention to these basics and safety issues, the stay could be much improved.
