The house is packed with character and original features including fireplaces, oak beams, original bread oven and a Victorian cooking range (features only). Beautifully decorated and traditionally furnished, the farmhouse is a spacious comfortable home with 6 Bedrooms accommodating 11 adults + 1 child bed (1 x double bedroom on ground floor), 1 Shower Room (ground floor), 2 full Bathrooms (1 en suite), Separate Upstairs Cloakroom, formal lounge, family lounge, kitchen/breakfast room, Garden Room and Utility/Boot room, all within its own traditional private English Gardens.
Set in the heart of West Sussex and directly on The Downs link, it has fantastic countryside for walkers, hikers, and cyclists.
Situated next to a farm with a delightful farm shop, we are superbly situated in the heart of West Sussex for a wealth of attractions including the award winning Sumners Ponds, Arundel Castle, Goodwood Racecourse/festival of speed, South Coast Beaches, Fishers Farm.
Christs Hospital train station is within walking distance and will get you to London in 40 minutes and Brighton in 30 minutes. Gatwick Airport is only 20/30 minute drive.

Summary: Wonderful cozy home well suited for a family of 6 to a party of 12. My husband and I and our extended family, 11 of us in total, stayed here for 2 weeks over the Christmas holiday. Debby did everything she could to make her home warm and welcoming from the moment we got there, fireplaces burning, Christmas tree and house decorated for the season, it was amazing. The house is well appointed with everything we needed to make wonderful meals for all of us, play games, or just have a great relaxing bath if need be. The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated, the beds comfortable, and it was easy to have some time to yourself if needed. We have spent a great deal of time in this area of England, so it was amazing that we could find a house that could sleep us all so comfortably. The area is full of of walking trails, easy walking access to the train to London, the beautiful Sussex Downs and the local village pub. There is a unique farm shop next door, that if we had needed, could have supplied all our supplies for the whole time we were there, wonderful veg, meats and sundries. As well as the farm shop there is a large supermarket 2 miles away.This home will provide all you need for the most wonderful, experience in the beautiful English countryside and all that it has to offer. We will be back for sure and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you again Debby for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
