2 Bedroom House in Landers
A very open floor plan that allows the entrance, dining room, kitchen, and living room to all flow into one another, concrete floors throughout. Our bedrooms have organic cotton, memory foam beds by loom n leaf as they sit in shallow 100% handmade wood bed frames. The bedding is made from quality linen or percale as we focused on colors that allow our guests to relax. Both rooms have dressers and options to hang up your clothes. You'll really enjoy hanging out in the living room with an option to light up the wood burning furnace and bring those outdoor elements inside. The house has WiFi but it's important to note that we decided on no TV. We did focus on sound, the Klipsch speakers are amazing and bluetooth capable, along with a record player if you're feeling more vintage. The living room is stocked with vintage games like Monopoly, Uno, dominoes, dice, and a few puzzles. Our full sized kitchen has a large gas stove, full size refrigerator, and butcher block countertops. Also equipped to make great coffee, pour over, americanos, or expresso. We give you options to eat on the patio, but also have a beautiful dining room w/ another hand made table with a slider that opens up to the front porch. We have 1 full size bathroom, equipped w/ a shower surrounded by zellige tile walls.
We were attracted towards the deeper desert, focusing on being a bit more isolated in the landscape. You'll find that we aren't super close to the "downtown" of Yucca or Joshua tree, and the park. With that said, we are still only 20 minutes from Yucca & Pioneertown, 23 from JT, and 30 min from the National Park. From our home there's a wonderful back country road that can be driven to JT & the park that makes the time fly by, (all paved). Our road itself, dusty mile, is just that so be prepared to drive on the actual desert when close to the house. We promise you'll love the deeper remote desert after your stay!
