Welcome to The Blue Door on Mulberry! This private guesthouse is on a centrally-located lot at the front of Martinsvilleโs Mulberry neighborhood. Maintain your sense of privacy while still being close to everything Martinsville has to offer. The property is less than 5 mins from the Martinsville Uptown District, under 10 mins to the Martinsville Speedway, under 4 mins to the SOVA Hospital, and walking distance to the Virginia Museum of Natural History, Piedmont Arts, and more! This space was lovingly renovated and its highlights include: a kitchen for cooking meals, a dining area for two, a 50โ Smart TV with steaming, a dedicated workspace w/ coffee, and a stunning black-and-white bathroom. The guesthouse is tucked away at the back of a large lot behind a main house so it offers plenty of privacy. Youโll have a dedicated parking spot with your own separate entrance to come and go as you please. The lot does back up to the woods and if youโre lucky you might just see a family of deer in the early mornings! Please Note: The guest house is located on the second floor of a detached garage, so taking a small set of stairs is required to access the unit. Please keep this in mind if you have any mobility concerns related to stairways. You will access the guest house by driving through a long shared driveway that is in between two houses. We are the red brick house to the left of the driveway. You wonโt see us unless you need us. We are generally very hands-off hosts, but we can be available if you need assistance with something related to your stay.
