Isle Be Back is located on Vieques, an island 8 miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico. There is not a bridge that connects the mainland to the island so you must ferry or fly to this magical place. You will want to rent a car soon after you book so that you can explore all of the beaches on the island. Our house is in the quiet, friendly neighborhood of Bravos de Boston, and is within walking distance of north beaches. There is free parking on premises. There are 13 concrete steps that lead to our oasis. Guests have access to the first floor only. The house is very spacious with two large bedrooms; each with it's own bathroom and air conditioner. One bedroom has a workspace. The main area is open concept with a kitchen, dining and living room combination. Laundry room is onsite. The space is comfortable, bright and breezy with windows on all sides. Relax on the veranda, in the hammock, or by the pool in the chaise lounge chairs in the private courtyard which offers glimpses of the ocean above the treetops. You can hear the ocean and the waterfall as the fountain pours into the refreshing pool. Other features of the property include an outdoor shower and lush landscaping. Banana trees are located to the left and right of the pool house. Help yourself to a banana if you are lucky enough to be onsite when they ripen. Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler are available for your use. There is also a binder onsite with additional information about island attractions and restaurants.
