Positive: Apart from the occasional rubbish it is a lovely beach location. I always go there to chill out and have something to eat whenever I am visiting The Gambia. Very reasonable price for staying including a tasty breakfast. They've recently built a fence at the beach front presumably to discourage casual use of the beach sun beds so I felt a little hemmed in but I understand why they've done it..The people that run the place are lovely and helpful.
Negative: The room was very small and the whole place is a little tired looking and could do with a coat of paint. The description says air-conditioning but in truth there is only actually one room that has Aircon and you have to request that specifically when you book. I don't usually like Aircon but It would have been great in such a small room. They did supply a fan though but there wasn't much fresh air circulating. It was rainy season so the mosquitos were crazy in the evening. A mattress protector would be good instead of just a thin sheet on top of a well used mattress.
Summary: Great location but a little tired.
