Just 4 miles to Tahoe City, 1 mile north of Homewood Mountain Resort and Sugarpine Park, Meeks Bay Resort, Chambers Landing Beach & Bar a short distance to the south.
The cabin is 1620 sq ft with 1 bedroom, sleeping loft, trundle bed (2 twins) both living and family rooms 1 1/2 baths. Wood burning fireplace, gourmet kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances and large deck with Weber gas BBQ. Property is landscaped and fenced with lawn furniture for outside living enjoyment. Smoking not permitted on property. Pets not accepted. Please observe our occupancy limit of 5 including children.

Summary: My wife, two kids, and I got lucky to book this place for four nights late July/early August. It was perfect. It comes with access to a private dock and beach and is in a special neighborhood that is just a couple of blocks by a few blocks on the lake-side of Highway 89. Great, special location. The home is well-appointed with kitchen items, TVs, and a great old-school Kenwood receiver. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners clearly care and maintain the place. West shore Lake Tahoe is idyllic. Quieter, cooler in the evenings, and prettier than South and North shore, in my opinion. Close to some cool local markets and dining, and just 12-15 minutes from a couple of major supermarkets and larger restaurants in Tahoe City. We'll definitely come back! Loved the location, home, and appreciated the friendly, thoughtful hosts.
