Positive: Monica was a spectacular host - friendly, very responsive and went above and beyond when we needed to locate a nearby hospital during our stay. She was available but discreet, leaving us to our own devices. The apartment feels very private and spacious, with excellent modern amenities (European windows, motion lighting), huge bathroom and a walk-in robe. Although the fridge is shared with the next apartment, it is clearly labelled and outside the door, along with the kettle/teas/toaster, so not an issue to use. Lovely bedding and table linens provided, and mokapot. Cleaning was done on the 4th night proactively. The apartment is well located for public transport - bus to Trieste was literally right outside the door and runs till late, also to local osmica (either walking distance or bus up to Prepotto). Property had a lovely front garden with quiet nooks for relaxing or eating, and was very secure (separate locks for front gate, front door and your room). If arriving by car, there is an excellent supermarket nearby (Conad). We ended up enjoying our time outside of Trieste itself more because of this stay.
Negative: 5G/Wifi was weak in the area (not a fault of the apartment). The washing machine was (temporarily) not available during our stay. Showerhead would frequently slide downwards and needs fixing.
