The 10' walls with open cathedral ceilings double the volume of this refuge from the hustle and bustle of life. Large windows in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom offer views across the valley. The cozy open loft bedroom is perfect for a romantic getaway.
Anthracite is completely off-grid. Power is generated by six 375 watt solar panels and stored in a 7.5kwh battery, which is plenty for a couple days of usage if the sun isn't out. For extended cloudy periods there is a standby generator which will automatically recharge the battery in a short period.
Anthracite features as many amenities outside as it does within. In the patio/deck area you will find a dinette, chairs, and a charcoal grill. A beautiful soaking tub is perfect to watch the early morning fog rise in the valley from the privacy of this wonderful retreat where there are no neighbors within sight. The sunken granite fire pit with surround seating is perfect for watching the sunset over the mountains snuggled up with loved ones or with your favorite book.
