Positive: I had a fantastic stay at The Barn in Durham. It’s a fabulous cottage in an amazing location — really easy to get to Sunderland, Durham, and Newcastle, which made getting around completely stress-free. Wendy was absolutely amazing — she genuinely couldn’t do more to help and made everything feel very easy and welcoming from the start. The cottage itself was exactly what you want: bright, spacious, spotlessly clean, and very homely. It had everything I needed and matched expectations perfectly. The kitchen was also fantastically well stocked with everything you need for cooking and cleaning — it genuinely felt just like being at home. I’d happily stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable and well-located in the area.

Negative: Honestly, nothing. I genuinely found this an amazing property — super helpful, very accommodating, and exactly what you need.
