Positive: The location was easy to find on a quiet street and between both the front and back beaches. The beds were comfortable and as we were a large group, there were plenty of choices. The house set up was great for kids, parents and grandies so we could all be together or have a quieter space if we chose. The pool was handy for times away from the beach and the kids loved the play equipment. The secure yard was also safe. Food was easy to prepare as the kitchen was well set up with two dining areas, lots of bench space and storage. The back 'toy' room had lots of 'activities' for everyone, although many toys were already broken and probably needed to be culled. We enjoyed the internet connection.
Negative: The general maintenance of the house could have been better. Batteries in remote controls were flat, air conditioners didn't work (I had to bring my own fan), brooms broken, vac broken, no shelves in bedrooms to unpack (which you need to do if you are there for a week), no clothes drier or air rack, way too many floral decorations so lttle space on tables and shelves and also had to be careful not to break with kids around. I think the cupboards needed to be emptied of odd bits and pieces (especially in the bathrooms) and have one specific cupboard with cleaning utensils and products for people to clean and tidy as we go or at least before we leave. Aerial connection would have helped when the internet decided not to connect. For the money we paid these things should not have been a problem.
Summary: We had a wonderful holiday because we were all together, in a big house, in a great location.
