Villa Naga has3bedroomssuitable for 6 people.Two bedrooms in the villa have an open air bathroom with and carved doors. The extra bedroom with indoor showeris separate it has spectacular views over the Barat national park, towards the vulcanos on Java.Two bedrooms have a180 x 200 double bed and one bedroom has two single beds. The villa has an infinity pool on the high terrace level. Built-in pool loungers offer you a stunning view towards the west.Each bedroom has mosquito nets and a romantic atmosphere. The lounge has a fully equipped kitchen and windows on three sides. These can be fully opened, so you can enjoy the view with a fresh breeze. Air conditioning is available in the lounge and the bedrooms. There is satellite TV withinternational channels and Wi-Fi.A safe is availablein the villa.Below the house is a large veranda space with a swing bed and lounge chairs with great views. Also the garden offers some nice spots to relax in the shade of an umbrella.
We have a very good restaurant at the retreat called Suma Restaurant, with great atmophere and super views on the bay of Sumberkima. Our chef Suma and his team take pride in providing the best possible food.You can checkreviews on the opinion of our guests on Tripadvisor. We have a daily changing menuwith several choicesand you can ask Suma to include your favorite dishes. You can also join him in a cooking classto learn more about traditional Balinese cooking.
Sumberkima is in the north west of Bali, close to Barat National Park and Menjangan Island. Gilimanuk, the port to Java is 25 km to the west. This part of Bali is still unspoiled by mass tourism and you will experience more of the real Bali. From this area Hinduism spread all over Bali. You will find some of the oldest and most important temples here.The coastline has several beautifulbays with large areas of shallow reefs.
Sumberkima is a good base for adventures with the sea and the jungle on our doorstep. It is one of the best places in Bali for diving and snorkelling with Menjangan Island and the Biorock project in Pemuteran. One of the safest places to learn to dive and get your PADI.
You can take a boat and go fishing or snorkelling and explore the small islands and the various bays in the area. We have beautiful coral and fish in the bay of Sumberkima.
You can also trek inland and go on a jungle tour or visit the Barat National Park. Check out some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Bali. A great trip is to go over to Java early in the morning and climb Kawa Ijen, a volcano with amazing scenery and sulfur miners that carry 80 kg buckets with sulfur out of the crater. At night you can see the blue fire and then watch sunrise.
However, simply walking around Sumberkima or using a mountain bike is a perfect way to see this part of Bali. Sumberkima offers a great variety in landscape, rice paddies, jungle, beaches, coconut groves and mangrove. And above all wonderful hospitable friendly people.
