Positive: We are family of 4 with two teenagers who stayed at Whaletale for a week. Tim and Lesley are wonderful hosts who know the surrounding area very well providing us with useful information on what to see and do in the area. WhaleTale is ideally located to explore the Overberg region and is situated on the edge of the Walker Bay reserve with its many caves and unspoilt nature - we were lucky to spot 3 Cape Clawless Otters on an early morning walk. We were greeted with a very generous welcome pack which included a bottle of wine and Christmas cake as we were staying over Christmas. The apartment is fully equiped with every thing you need and includes a generous covered porch (stoep) and an enclosed braai area at the back. The greatest feature of the apartment is the magnificent 180 degree view of Walker Bay which can be enjoyed from the stoep or any of the rooms.
