Once through the security gates, wind your way through the dense pine forest, over the salt marsh bridge, and marvel at the quiet beauty of coastal South Carolina's Low Country. Watch for snowy egrets, great blue herons, alligators and turtles on the creek banks. Plenty of parking for your extended family when you arrive at our comfortable beach-front house. Step out to the screened-in porch and enjoy a cool breeze as you take in a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Grab your towel and raid our 'beach-toy' closet for beach chairs and lots of playthings for the kids.
After a relaxing swim and a dig in the sand, take a walk down the beach to the Baruch Foundation's Hobcaw Barony. Undeveloped and preserved for perpetuity, witness this unparalleled sanctuary used by Clemson, USC and other institutions for important ecological research.

Summary: This is a wonderful beachfront cottage. There was lots of space for our family of 9 to spread out and relax. We loved the outdoor shower, the big screen porch, the easy access to the beach and the community pool. The vintage style is similar to houses we have enjoyed on Pawley’s Island. We felt very relaxed and “ at home”. The kitchen was well equipped and the round dining room table is wonderful. I hope we can return!
